Associate Professor Yuval Emek joined the Faculty in 2013. He received his Ph.D. in computer science and applied mathematics at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2008.
Yuval has held three postdoctoral positions; at Tel Aviv University (2008-2009), Microsoft (2009-2010,) and at ETH Zurich (2010-2013)
Prof. Emek’s main theme of research is algorithms for decision-making under uncertainty. He’s also interested in various aspects of biological computation, game theory, and combinatorial optimization.
