Overview

I double majored in my undergraduate studies in Economics and Statistics in the Hebrew University (Jerusalem, Israel). M.Sc. degree in Economics, from the Technion (Haifa, Israel). Ph.D. in Regional Science from the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, USA). In 1987, a Lady Davis postdoctoral fellow in the Technion. I participated in a few teams in preparation of the following: Evaluation of Project Renewal, a national project of intervention in seventy dilapidated neighborhoods; A Computer Package for Evaluating the Economic Cost of Air Pollution Abatement; National Master Plan for the Haifa Bay Area (TAMA 30); Evaluating the expected recreational benefits of the Hula Project; Environmental Audit for the city of Haifa, Israel (financed by the European Commission). A methodology for managing municipal solid waste (MSW), collaboration between Haifa, Marseilles and Piraeus (financed by the European Commission).
