The program is given in Hebrew
The focus of this program is the tools and technologies used in establishing, maintaining and operating information systems, as well as the practical application of these systems in the business context. Emphasis is placed on technological programming innovations such as object-oriented planning, advanced programming languages, and graphic human-machine interfaces. Some courses (e.g., database organization) highlight the role played by technologies such as artificial intelligence. In the realm of applications, students are introduced to the problems involved in evaluating and choosing from the available software and hardware. A number of courses present problems related to the management and control of information systems, in particular issues arising from the widespread use of decentralized systems. Various courses deal with innovative applications, including the use of expert systems in manufacturing.
