Abstract: In this talk I'll discuss the fundamentals of personalized shopping assistance in eCommerce using voice-based AI assistant devices. I'll cover some of the recent work done in our lab on personalized shopping experience through Amazon's Alexa, with the focus on product search and product question answering.
